Getting to Bielefeld:

By Car:

From south-west direction (Dortmund):
On the motorway A2 - Dortmund to Hannover , leave at the exit Bielefeld-Sennestadt, then turn left to Bielefeld-Brackwede on the Südring. Passing a few furniture shops turn right to the Ostwestfalendamm (motorway B68). Exit Stapenhorststraße and follow the signs to the university (UniversitÃ¤t).

From north-east direction (Hannover):
On the motorway A2 - Hannover to Dortmund, leave at exit Herford-Bad Salzuflen (NOT Herford-Ost) to Herford. After a few kilometers on the Ring-Road turn left to Bielefeld. In Bielefeld follow the signs UniversitÃ¤t and Alm (soccer) via the Talbrückenstraße and Voltmannstraße to the university.

By Train:

Take the subway/tram line 4 from the station to the university.
(To reach the subway station, cross the road in front of the station andkeep right passing hotel Mövenpick.)
A taxi requires 10 minutes and costs aboutEuro 8.
