In September 2007, I received my diploma in "Biomathematics" from Greifswald University, Germany.
I already finished my diploma thesis with the title "Diskrete Rekombinationsdynamik" in the Biomathematics and theoretical Bioinformatics Group of Prof. Ellen Baake.
Currently I am a member of the Graduate College Bioinformatics at the Faculty of Technology, Bielefeld University, and work within Ellen Baake`s workgroup.
 

Current Interests

For my PhD I am working in the field of population genetics, and I am in particular involved in mathematical models that deal with recombination dynamics.
