KI-95 Workshop Program at the Scientific Conference

The workshop program provides a forum for discussing currently relevant specific problems of AI applications and research. Interaction and the exchance of ideas among researchers and practitioners is encouraged. Contributions from all fields of applied or theoretical AI are welcome; special attention is given to proposals focussing on the interaction of AI and pattern recognition methods.

Proposals for the organization of workshops are invited, and should be submitted by the end of November, 1994, to the address given below. Proposals should not exceed two pages in length; they should contain a workshop title and the names, postal addresses, phone numbers and email addresses of the organizers, together with a brief description of the workshop's topic, goals, and procedures. If possible, a list of potential participants should be added. Please use email.

Workshops will be conducted in parallel on Monday afternoon (11.9.95) and Tuesday morning (12.9.95), with 8 hours of program time available for each workshop. The themes of the workshops offered at KI-95, together with detailled descriptions how to submit a workshop contribution, will be published in the No.1/1995 issue of the German AI magazine "KI" which is due by the end of february, 1995. Abstracts of all accepted workshop contributions will be published in a separate conference volume.
