xmltio Licensing

The open-source license agreement for xmltio, the GNU General Public License (GPL),
requires you to release the source code of any application that uses xmltio, provided
that such application is distributed to a different physical location.

If you do not wish to be bound by the terms of the GNU license, you can acquire
a commercial license from the Applied Computer Science Group, Bielefeld University.

You are not required to get a special license during the development phase of your
proprietary products. It is only when you release your proprietary product that you
have to contact us in order to get an appropriate unrestricted license.
