Recording Components
==========================

Besides the :ref:`long_term_memory`, which stores selected data in
specific formats for later use, there are also special recording
components that store raw data including timing and communication
information. Thereby, they allow for debugging, replaying, and further
analysis of the system itself and its interchanged data.
