Leave central railway station in the direction of "City/Innenstadt" and walk to the central railway station tram stop.
From there you can take any tram direction 'Stieghorst', 'Senne', 'Sieker' or 'Dürkopp Tor 6' and get off
at the next station 'Jahnplatz'. Leave the underground in direction 'Oberntorwall'.
Between the shops 'TK Max' and 'Apollo Optik' is the Niedernstraße. Follow the road to the next intersection (= Ritterstraße).
Turn right and walk along Ritterstraße until you reach the Altstadt Hotel.
