6.2. Video Generation

To generate video files, the shell script generate_video.sh can be utilized. It is is located in

$prefix/bin

Certain environment variables have to be set before the script can be used: source-env.sh

source $prefix/bin/source-env.sh

generate-videos.sh -h shows how to use the script.

usage: generate-videos.sh [-h] [-i infolder] [-o outfolder] [-a audiocam] [-v videocams] [-p prefix]

where:
    -h  show this help text
    -i  input folder for video (h264) and audio (flac) files          (default: /tmp/)
    -o  output folder for combined video (mp4) and intermediate files (default: /tmp/)
    -a  one camera that recorded the audio track                      (default: 2)
    -v  video-only cameras                                            (default: 134)
    -p  file globbing prefix                                          (default: VP)

Set the path for LD_LIBRARY and start the shell script generate_video.sh.

6.2.1. Example

LD_LIBRARY_PATH=$prefix/lib/ generate-videos.sh -i recordings/ -o gen/ -a 1 -v 1234 -p c

Please use for the output folder a separate folder, e.g. gen/.
